New and Improved for 2017!
January 13, 2017
New and Improved. Is that still a thing? I hope so, because to start the new year I’m launching a reorganized website with some new - and improved - features:
- A redesigned Home page, with images organized by category
- A separate blog and gallery for each of my trips
- The ability to comment on blog posts
- A newsletter linked to the website
- Automated subscribe and unsubscribe capabilities
What will not change is my posting frequency. I will only email you if I have a major announcement or new images to display. In other words, not very often.
In addition, I’ve organized the images within galleries in a way that makes them really enjoyable to view. The simplest way is to click the slideshow button (small triangle) adjacent to any image, sit back and watch the parade of images in that particular gallery. The bigger the screen, the better.
It thrills me that folks want to see my images, which motivates me to do even better with the next ones. I’m excited for the opportunity to display images that whet your appetite for travel and exploration, and sometimes even make you say “Wow!” Thank you for providing that motivation.
At the end of this month Sherry and I will be heading to South America to hike in Patagonia and then travel on to Antarctica. We live on a planet under stress from so many forces that I feel a sense of urgency to capture images of the amazing animals and incredible sights that are at risk of disappearing. The Antarctic is a big part of that story.
Here’s to a great 2017 for all of us.
P.S. If you know someone who might be interested in seeing images from upcoming trips, please forward this blog post to them. They can sign up on my Home page to receive notifications of updates.
